While i love and adore James Wan..i felt a lot of this story had a lot of borrowed elements from the movie Z. The imaginary friend killing people was straight out of Z

Tilda nails it as a mother who is trying to bond with a difficult child in this movie and her emotions are visceral in this...heart breaking...she doesn't want a child and feels pressured into having one and one she doesn't necessarily want and the consequences are astounding...just when you think she's had more then any one human can take more comes and she's got a vulnerability to her and her memories...it calls to question the old addage are monsters born or created

While a lot of other viewer's were tunred off because of the violence in this movie , the relationship between these 3 brothers was beautiful and extremely moving and the love stories intertwined werre gripped and also lovely...amazing acting from all characters.
