Rating: 5/5 undoubtedly! Completely recommend 💛
Beautifully written. I distinctively remembered all the times I’ve cried while reading this masterpiece of a novel. It touches on loyalty, betrayal, trauma, guilt, and essentially redemption. The writing draws you in and seamlessly creates a movie in your mind. The part I loved most is how its premise is of a man who had to live with the guilt and trauma from his childhood all the way till adult life, only to come to a point where he finally redeems himself. The best message here is how everyone can always become a better person no matter what past was lived, and the first step is to forgive themselves. That’s the hardest thing to do sometimes, even if everyone else, most importantly God, has already forgiven you.
