I love Xenoblade X and Xenoblade 2, but found the first game mediocre at best.
I gave zero sh*ts about any of the characters.
The combat was boring as heck.
Story is good, not great.
World is big, but littered with godawful side quests.
(!!!SPICY SPICY HOT TAKE INCOMING!!!!) Soundtrack wasn’t that amazing. There were some good songs like Gaur Plain, Mechanical Rhythm, and You Will Know Our Names, but I found the rest of the songs so underwhelming.
