It was very interesting to find out about Emilia Bassano and what she did to keep herself alive. Having two female playwrights discussing their problem publishing through the centuries, shows us how women have not achieved the success they should have.

I enjoyed the book. There was good character development . The plot was interesting. It was a fun read at the beginning and then it got down to serious topics.

I didn’t like it, but I finished it. It was very hard to follow. There was too much extraneous material.
