A love letter to fans of the series. An extended cutscene in look and feel from the old games. In both the best and worst ways. If you are not a fan of the series, you won't have a good time. It's cheesy and rushed together. But it has a LOT of love for the source material.

Actors try their hardest with the material given to them, but there are moments where the over the top acting in the very serious situations actually have lead me to burst out laughing rather than cry along with our characters in their plight. Don't get me wrong, it's a great hate watch. Actors great enough to keep you hooked, story cringe enough to wish upon death for these characters.
