Right up there with Gunsmoke as the best classic TV westerns. Top notch acting from the regular cast & star-studded guests. Excellent stories, scenery, cinematography, color & music. Many episodes were feature film-quality.

For emulation of the look and feel of the Original Series, I don't see how it could be any better. The throwback atmosphere it creates is amazing. I'm about halfway through the series run and enjoying it very much. Kudos to the writers, cast and crew for this gift to Trek fans.

Vivid color and a pleasant must-see every holiday season for us. Love the finale, and there's plenty of other good songs as well.
