I think this film captures a number of difficult figurative and conceptual elements and translates them into a coherent, reality-based story.
The idea of a repair man being the hero in the future of destroyed humanity is also something which would not normally be presented outside of the comedy genre, thereby opening the audience to something altogether unfamiliar but somehow just as likely to occur as a military specialist.
Aside from that it has the familiar feel of a videogame which is bound to attract people, in addition to very good visuals.
