The horror type feel this movie was meant to have was overshadowed by politics and race. It was extremely boring and nothing like the original (which is 10x better). The original also had race involved but it was subtle while still getting the message across, this 2021 remake on the other hand was all about race race race. If you wanna make a movie dedicated to just being about race, don't use a horror that has so much more involved.
