I'm only just this day finding out this film was made, in 2010 no less. And I'M A FAN of Brendan's. How is this possible?
Just got through watching. It did something few films do nowadays. It made me laugh out loud lots. I think it was adorable, family friendly but not saccharine, Brendan has lost none of his great slapstick comedy timing, still can take a pratfall like a king. He's still funny, still sweet, still uber likable and still handsome. He's sporting a dad bod these days which makes me love him all the more.
A great cast with some surprises. The CGI is predictable but the film is impossible without it. There are some timely moral points as plot lines that somehow don't drag the comedy timing down. I say yes yes yes to this little sleeper. Maybe I should call it Rip Van Winkle. It's an hour and a half you won't regret spending, if you are a Brendan fan.
