The Lion King is my all time favorite Disney movie. My daughter and I watched it so many times that i know it word for word. So when I heard about the live action being made I was thrilled. After seeing it though, welll let's just say that I've never been so disappointed. Why they felt they needed to take out iconic scenes, like Timon and Pumbas hula dance, I'll never understand. And the cast was awful, they changed the wording as well as the emotion in the reading of the lines. Then there's the song's, horrible. The only character I liked was Mufasa. Why on earth did you change something so perfect Disney? You should have left it alone. Very disappointing. Hopefully you'll do a remake and fix it.
