It is one of the best performances by an actor I have ever seen. The film gets to the core of 'Joker's' soul because of the writing and Phoenix's superb characterization. I keep watching it and always see something different. I am just amazed by the depth of his acting. He will be the greatest actor, as far as I am concerned, of his generation.
