Okay so naughty dogs recently released the last of us part 2 for the ps4 and has been criticised by fans round the world. After playing the game intesively, here's my review. (Note: *Spoilers ahead*) So first let's discuss what's good in this game: 1. Graphics: Remeber when everyone said that the last of us part one is one of the most graphically advanced games for the PlayStation 3?, It's the same thing for the last of us part 2 on PlayStation 4. The graphics here are just amazing and mind blowing. The level of details inside this game is just wow. The game looks so real. Character faces, the skies, buildings, everything just looks so real. I can't even imagine what game developers like naughty dogs can do for the next gen consoles 2. Gameplay: Comparing to the first part, the second part improves gameplay mechanics quite well. Characters have got new abilities and can do much more than before. However one thing I'd like to point out is that even if they have improved the AI on this one, it still sucks. 3. I really liked the idea of the lgbt relation in this game. It's quite new thing for the games I've played. Yes there are some inapropriate scenes in the story but that's just okay for me. I think it's a bold and quite different move on the side of naughty dogs to bring up an lgbt story. Now coming to what's bad and why it's being so heavily criticised by everyone ( including me). It's none other than the: Story: I mean how could naughty dogs even do this. How could they play with the fans' emotions. First off they kill Joel, our favourite character from the previous games, in like 2 hours? Even if they had to they could've just paid Joel some respect, some kind of respect. But no, they just brutally killed him, finished him. That's straight Bullsh*t. That's a slap in the face by naughty dogs to the fans' man. Second point is that how the developers force you into playing with Abby, the character that killed our beloved Joel, for 10 hours? Yes, I know that they wanted us to have some sympathy for Abby by knowing her story but the truth is they have failed in doing so. No matter how hard I tried I just could feel bad for Abby, I just couldn't like her. Third point, they then force us to fight against Ellie? Really naughty dogs? Fourth point, Ellie goes after Abby and almost kills her only to let her go. That just doesn't make sense, come on. And in the end our beloved Ellie is left all alone, her worst nightmare came true, she's got nobody left. They killed off Joel,and jesse, dina and jj are gone. Ellie's all alone and can't even play her guitar anymore. I'm done with this game man. Naughty dogs seriously dissapointed all of us this time. The story just doesn't fit in. Yeah I mean bravo for them for trying something new but it just didn't work out well. It just didn't work out the way they wanted it to.
