I really enjoyed watching this movie. Simple yet very romantic, well mixed with relatable events of ordinary lives. It is 2021 and this movie rewinds back to the younger years of Penelope and Christian Bale. It is not very often a low/average rated movie entertains so much. It is very rare these days, in a rat-race world, that simple beautiful movies are made and touches us so much. To best enjoy this movie, keep your mood afloat with desires for country life, ordinary lives where time paces slower.
P.S.: If you enjoy this movie, I recommend another Nicholas Cage movie Birdy (1984). And of course, Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) :)
