Rust is frustrating for players who put in hours building a base, only to have it raided while they’re offline by those who spend excessive time in the game. If developers added a buff that made bases 25% harder to raid when players are offline—and 25% easier when they’re online—it would encourage fairer, more active gameplay. Unfortunately, the developers haven’t addressed this issue, leaving the game heavily unbalanced. Until this changes, it’s hard to recommend investing time in Rust over other games that value players’ time and effort more.
