When two odds, with different families, goals and personalities meet, there's always an extensive storyline for their happy ending and this was by far the best one. ***SPOILER*** The amount of trouble and self-doubt Kai went through to be with the one his heart truly aches for, Isa, was mesmerizing. The way they self-navigated themselves with everything that was happening and found peace in each other's embrace was simply beautiful. I loved the drama, the clichés, the little moments and the hard-felt reality of it all. It was cheesier than the cheesy bread I make, which I absolutely love. The chemistry and their bantering are unmatched. I cannot think of a better pair that deserves each other than them. K + I forever.

Addie, who's finally moved back to her late grandmother's sweet home now finds the dark secrets the gothic mansion held and is on a mission to uncover the truth but encounters her stalker in this process which strikes a déjà-vu scenario to what she's been finding out about her late great-grandmother and much more. Z, who saves women and children from the hands of evil authorities and those who mean to only harm and torture them, finds peace in Addie's eyes the moment he lays it on her and starts obsessing over her, so he can have her all to himself and also manages to always leave a rose for the one he loves oh so dearly. ***SPOILER*** The book itself isn't bad but I wished it would've been more descriptive to truly hold its title for being a top-tier dark romance book as claimed by everyone else. I feel the darkness in this book isn't immense either but this could just be my opinion. Zaddy is very hot. But a bigger part of me liked him more when he's masking as Zack Forthright, he felt more natural enacting than he did as himself. I also feel that there were better ways to start the story between Addie and Z, the trauma she faced was completely unnecessary and that only ended up endangering her more which is ironic as he only wanted to protect her from danger. But otherwise, the chapters after she calmed down regarding his identity and stabilized her stance, are absolutely adorable. It does end on a huge cliffhanger as there are many questions unsolved and many more secrets to be unveiled.

It revolves around a travelling haunting amusement fair where Sibbel Dubois, a troubled female because of her wicked father and his misconduct, hides behind the walls of the horror houses and sings her horror tunes when she hunts her prey along with the help of her five equally disturbed henchmen, Mortis, Jackal, Cronus, Timothy, and Baine. Due to Sibby having a rough childhood, she believes she was the chosen one to undo all the wrongdoings that her world carries, no matter what may come. ***SPOILER*** I feel weird knowing what she's been through and it sent my brain into corners I couldn't imagine. I mean, what the was that? I don't want her ending to be that lonely, but I'm a lot more horrified to know it was all in her mind and pity her character for being through so much. Like girl, lemme give you a hug.
