Ill not beat around the bush. Mark Hamil delivers an amazing performance. The visuals and camera shots are that of a modern masterpiece. And some parts are actually pretty funny. But other than that, I don’t enjoy Rey and Finn, they’re just uninteresting in my opinion. The plot was cool but nothing major happened, was almost a step back from the force awakens. Insults after insults to the originals such as Leia magically floating back to her ship, even though she’s never used any form of the force at all. Luke throwing his lightsaber over his shoulder (and calling it a laser sword). For me it’s like Disney haven’t paid any attention to the films before it and are ignoring a connection with them. Also they’re trying so hard to highlight Rey and Finn as the main characters but fail so bad in development of them. It’s not the actors fault, it’s the writing and their backgrounds. Alright at best and parts of it I just wish to ignore completely. Hoping they save themselves with rise of the Skywalker.

Ahh this film is sheer nostalgia for me. It’s easily the best out of the prequels and for good reason. The plot for this movie is arguably the best out of all the star wars movies. I’d say this film is the most important and plot changing films out of all them too. Anakin becoming darth Vader, killing all the Jedi youth, causing obi wan to flee in hiding, Luke and Leia are born. Palpatine revealing he’s a Sith Lord. So much!! Throw that the best lightsaber duel in all of Star Wars is in this, along with plenty of other great battles. The emotion is at an all time high. The acting isn’t absolutely superb, both from Ewan and Hayden. Effects are decent (for the time it was released) and the character development was at such a high for this film, that you were so hurt by Anakin’s actions. I’m a die hard fan, seen every film and I can safely say, although I don’t think it’s the best Star Wars, it’s my favourite. Only criticism I have is some of the dialogue for Hayden (Anakin Skywalker) is a bit... how do you say... cringeworthy at times. I think that’s George’s fault there and the fact that Hayden gets so much hate, even though his acting is fantastic is just frustrating. Regardless, if you can look past that small downfall you’re in for a rollercoaster. (Watch the first two before this one even though that’s slightly painful)

A film that will be a classic for as long as the earth rotates. It’s the perfect star wars film and I think the best out of all them. Other than revenge of the Sith. (Unpopular opinion)

Probably my least favourite out of the prequels for reasons I could list all day... with that being said it’s still a decent film and an important part of the whole saga. No Star Wars film is “bad” I just think this one lacked a lot and could have been a lot better if things were changed slightly.

It’s alright. Slow and boring at times due to the council meetings and political talk. Other that that, I enjoy the movie and the acting is amazing in it. Not to mention Ewan McGregor and Liam Neesons duel with ray park is one of the best choreographed fights you’ll see in all 9 episodes. But yeah, it’s ok. Certainly not the best.

Disney have outdone themselves tbh. Great character development, effects are amazing, the acting is great, not too long episodes, always a good plot and twist within them. And most importantly they’ve made mando a badass, you can really cheer for him, he’s not indestructible, but he’s brave, he’s tough, he’s smart and you always want to keep watching on. Not to mention baby yoda is cute af! Must watch for any Star Wars fan. Solid 9/10 for me.
