This is such a nostalgic tradition for me to watch this every October as some network channel would always show this, among other specials like It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, each Halloween time when I was growing up in the 80s. It's wonderfully told and Bing Crosby's crooning narration could be light-hearted or lend a very foreboding atmosphere when needed.
