Truly spectacular story and scenery. Yes there are some issues such as nice white teeth, horses with brand new shoes all the time but this is always the case with period shows of late. If you are able to look past these then I don't think you will be disappointed. I've watched this 3 times now and always see new things and am always in tears at the end

Enjoyable series and binge watchable. The plot is similar to others (not necessarily train based) that I have seen. Yes there are some plot holes and unrealistic scenarios but isn't that the case with each and every TV seres ever produced??? Sadly I did predict fairly early on who was behind it but this didn't take away from the enjoyment because of the twists and turns the direction took leading you down a certain thought process Cast in the main is good some characters better than others (again like every other show) Would I recommend this, YES I would

Loving this and reminds me very much of my time playing Assassins Creed Black Flag, same characters and some of the same places visited shame Edward Kenway didn't make an appearance Acting was very good, sets and scenary excellant. Now I love a good 18th century naval series and this doesn't disappoint. Yes there is some objectrification of women which I obviously do not condone but this is very much true to the time, series isn't condoning the behaviour more just educating as to how things were during such times

Sadly this did nothing for me at all. Only gave it 2 stars because of the cinematography. Started watching this following on from VIkings and The Last Kingdom which were epic with great character development, this seems very disjoineted in comparison which is a shame as it in principle had great promise. Yes the story mentions Ragnar, Bjorn & Ivarr (along with some others) it is even set at points in Kattegat. I only persisted through all 3 seasons because of the joys of OCD I will say I loved Freydis very much a badass female character

Great series and well worth watching, especially if you watched Vikings as this follows on a similar timeline with season 1 starting 40 years after season 6 of Vikings. Make sure you watch the 2023 movie of the same name after you complete season 5 as this closes out the series. Well acted, good costumes and sets. I personally feel it is shame the attention to detail in those areas isn't extended to the casts teeth (although this series isn't alone in with this)

Could this movie of been better? Yes. Could it of been worse? Yes. Great cast who played their parts well. James Bond or Bourne this is not, more along the lines of Johnny English certainly doesn't take itself seriously. If you watch this on the basis it isn't trying to compete with the likes of Bond & Bourne it is a enjoyable watch that doesn't take 100% attention

Love the mood this film sets with its slight grey tone. It is slow paced yes but this is only again to set the mood, anything to do with espionage is done in this way. If you are wanting a Bond or Bourne style spy thriller this isn't for you Stunning cast Oldman in particular who seems to thrive on the spy thriller (give Slow Horses a go also). I've read a number of John le Carré novels in the past and believe they are some of the best Cold War books ever written this is a fair reflection of the times

Found it slightly more bearable than the original, I found the main thing wrong with the 1996 Twister was when people manage to keep both feet on the ground and outrun a tornado that is picking up vehicles and tearing through houses and the numerous continuity errors. There is still some of this but much less. The movie follows the same formula as the original typical love interest, bereavement. Did this detract from my viewing experience, well no I got exactly what I expected. Could it of been better, yes most definitely but the same could be said for every movie ever produced.

So like many other reviews I decided to rewatch this before watching Twisters the 2024 sequel. Given that this is years old I think it holds up pretty well. Yes you have to surrender some relms of reality such as how did they survive so many near death experiences. Also some of the CGI effects aren't ever going to be up to current standards so don't expect it to do so IMO it is a typical 90's action style movie and follows the usual path

Fascinating series giving a inside look into the culture (I'm sure like with all these style of shows there will be some inaccuracies) Binged all episodes of season 1 in a day also some interest having been playing Assassins Creeed Valhalla which is n a similar timeline of events. The scenery was spectacular This gave everything I was expecting of the series and nothing I wasn't hence the 4 stars
