I don’t like it, mostly because of the cast. I don’t think it will make it in the long haul.

I love this movie! The original with Glenn Ford was very good as well but this version has a few problems. I am at a loss as to why Ron Howard would hire Delroy Lindo as the FBI agent? I like Lindo and he is a fine actor but this role did not fit him. He character did not possess the “trained” FBI agent that handles kidnap cases. To me he was very distracting. That being said, the overall movie is very good.
