Goodness knows how I've managed to get to just past 400 pages, but I have, so I'll plough on to the end for some masochistic reason. The only thing I can recall reading are the sections about his amputation. I read the first three, but I won't be going near number five. Really poor attempt. I guessed right away from the shots of the Lion's Gate bridge in the first episode where it was being filmed. Last night's episode, Feb 28, very loosely based on a Wellness location had a large sign that read Fernwood Center. If a suitable location could not be found in BC, at least ditch the U.S. spelling.
I must add that I have watched every episode and do find it enjoyable,

We only had a few episodes here in Toronto. I was just checking to see if it had been canned, but it appears we got them all. The worst parts were the Aussie dialogue, at times very tricky trying to follow what was being said, but some of the 'scenery' makes it worthwhile. The plots are not very good at all.

I gave up at 8pm on Sunday to watch a whodunit on PBS. What with Chris Fowler and Mary Joe and their constant chatting while the ball is in play I could not tolerate it any more. I know Mary Joe never won a big one, but she's been around long enough, and Fowler, as a journalist, should know better. Those 2 should ask Tracy for a few tips, they will enhance their reputations.
Just remembered something from years ago; Bud Collins asked Guga's mother a question in Paris.
She told him to be quiet, the game was in progress. I thought I was going to be yelled at by the neighbors, I cheered so loudly.
