Very interesting and different the way it's filmed, merging theatrical scenes with movie filming. But the plot and the movie for me was very slow and not intriguing or catching at all. I gave up after half movie tbh.

I gave it a go as it was number 1 in Netflix at some point.... Dissapointed! Historical events far from reality, they forgot to add fiction in the description of the series. Full of ball dances, women stereotypes of gossip, jealousy, which only aspirations are haunt for a man and marriage,... Every chapter is not different to the others. I stopped in chapter 4, not interested, bored ...

Good visuals, shots and great filming effects! But the plot is very slow, poor and boring argument. It could have been much better and more a dark horror movie based in the original tale. But very disappointing instead.
