Whyyyyy didn't they just ask her for the damn insulin? They had so many opportunities! The bank card, the ring, just a bad story line, plot, ending, all bad. The acting wasn't terrible, the one girl from the Descent is in it, and that was a good movie, this was not so much...

This was a disturbing yet intriguing doc. I feel so bad for Jan for having such moronic parents. I never got so mad during a doc that I had to pause to calm myself down because of the sheer stupidity of these parents. I realize it was in the 70s and "stuff like this just doesn't happen" but it's almost as if they gave him a written invitation to help himself to their daughter....

I love Bryan Cranston. Love Ryan Gosling. The place beyond the pines? Loved. But this movie dragged on and on. What's his deal? He has no depth at all. Chemistry between characters is non existent. Theres no kind of relationships at all. I have 20 minutes left of the movie. I've thought about shutting it off 4 times but I see things thru. I actually paused it to see if I'm crazy or if people actually like this movie. Maybe I'm crazy because everyone seems to love it. But the only cool parts were when hes driving. And him bashing the guys face in but even then- I felt unease because the chemistry between characters is flipping weird. Why cant they converse? Why does he just stare at her with that look on his face? Talk! I'm going to finish the rest but I cant see menever wanting to watch this again....
