Harry potter and the Half blood prince is my most favorite potter book . This is darkest hp book which can take you to another world . But movie disappoint me in many ways. This is supposed to be best hp movie but it turn down to be many least favorite. This movie has dark color which is literally dull . There is huge difference between dark and dull . This is final movie before finale , but it was bad movie . They mainly focused on trio's love interest rather than focusing on tom riddle story . This is a book where Harry and Dumbledore spend most time but the movie rushed a lot . A good book adaptation is to be faithful for source material but a great book adaptation is to make movie better than book. This was neither of them . They made so many changes from book which is kinda irritating and they made movie a romantic drama which was supposed to be a suspence thriller . Finally this not great movie but ok . It also lacks consistency of film making and color setting,. So I'm gonna give hbp 6.9/10

This is my second favorite movie in this series. It is amazing im terms of cinematography. It is where Harry Potter series took a new turn . It is different from past movies . Hats off to director Alfanso Cuaron . This movie and book respectively take a turn where most of potter heads think cos is bad , this saved Harry potter. This bought us a magical feel that everyone needed . Although hp 1 was nice movie , it was not completely faithful for book . They changed many things. This movie is where everything is as it supposed to me . Alfonso Cuaron did great job of casting Gary oldman , Emma thompson, David thewis as there respective roles. But I felt Michael Gambon as Dumbledore is not great . Still I am not completely satisfied but it is probably my favorite potter movie with dh 2 . It has many flaws but a beautiful movie. But the biggest problem in harry potter franchise is that it does not have consistency like lotr . Finally it's great movie but not best adaptated movie . So I'm gonna give 9/10
