Spoiler Review: You need to watch this movie a second time. Yes, lots of twists and turns and a little confusing. At first I did not understand the juxtaposition of the arctic to the desert, but it definitely relates. One might even suggest that the darkness we face is within. As a thriller/mystery "Hold the Dark" reveals a glimpse of the psyche: madness, spiritual awareness, ritual and folk lore. But all is not lost, if we can only hold the dark. Excellent movie.
