This film is a look at how far people will go to retain their youth and beauty. I found it to be more satirical and comedic than horror, but regardless of the label, it was great!! I do think the final 15 min or so were just too OTT. Hard to say exactly where I'd cut it off without spoilers, but probably when the lights come up on the stage show and all is revealed. No need for what follows, in my opinion.

I go to movies for escapism, which is exactly what I got here. I don't know how much truth there is in the storyline but it seems like a slightly exaggerated version of the kind of thing that might have happened during the Space Race. I felt the cat segments were over-contrived and the amount of build up was unnecessary. They could have just had the animal pop up in its big scene without all the heavy hints. But overall it was fun and a little light romance was ok and didn't distract me from the main story.
