Evan Williams

This is a film with almost no redeeming features. I was keen to see it but once it started rather keener for it to end. Beautifully shot nice locations and some good beasts but they were nothing like enough to compensate for the over long pedestrian dialogue and contrived peril. I came to this as a fan of the franchise. Read all the books to my kids. Watched all the films and was totally up for some Dumbledore back story detail. No it just didn’t work on any level the funny bits not really funny and the fights not frightening. Obviously you still have to see it at some point but understand it’s going to be a slog and two hours twenty minutes you will never get back.
