After ruining Game of Thrones for everyone, the writers have taken up the task of destroying another novel series. The characters in the series are shallow and illogical. Moreover, most of the lead characters are megalomaniacs. When the story takes us to a point where the fate of humankind is determined by one scatter-brained 'so-called scientist', one can't help but wonder, does humans deserve to survive? The writers mixed up the three novels into a bouillabaisse of a show, without any logical motivations for most of the characters' actions - basically proving they haven't learnt anything following the last season of GoT!
