Was very surprised by this movie. Another movie I was watching ended and this came on afterwards. Had no idea what it was about but based on the name figured it had something to do with the Chicago (my hometown) mob. The opening scene watching the suit pattern/cutting unfold in detail was kind of mesmerizing. I was thinking this isn't a typical mobster movie. I was right. So many twists and turns keeping me on edge and then the last 10 minutes was definitely worth waiting for. Definitely going to watch again to see if there were any tells I missed that might have revealed the ending.

I kept on waiting for it to get better. Never did. Kept waiting for Ryan to speak and when he finally did nothing of worth came out. Why would he get involved with such a ridiculous movie production?

Just not feeling it for this Law and Order incarnation. Not fond of the storyline. Always liked Stabler on SVU even though at times he was a little unstable. Now he is just completely unhinged. Yes his wife was killed so you can understand him being distraught, but it all just seems forced. Why would police brass even welcome him back into the department and then work this case. Then the villain mastermind who has meticulously made this grand plan that has gone un-noticed by law enforcement all these years is identified by Stabler in the span of a couple days but apparently he won't be caught for at least a season because he is a series regular. Just not Law and Order in any sense.

Movie was action packed and well acted. The intensity left you on the edge of your seat. While it may not have been based on a true story the main characters were believable enough to keep me invested until the end.
