All in all a good starting season to the series , lets talk about what they get right first. The intro is brilliant as always makes you go right back to 2011 and i love it that they stuck with the original soundtrack , just goosebumps material . The CGI is obviously a step up from before that was expected , the sound and camerawork is also well done , the action sequences pan out well too. Now lets look at where its lacking when compared to the original . Lacking is an undertstatement really because the dialogues and delivery in GoT were FAR more superior than what House of the Dragon is currently showcasing . I had to back and rewatch some of Clegane'e best moments to remind me just how good the dialogues were in the original , even the side actors cussed better back then . Im not saying the cast isnt good , its just that their delivery comes off as straight up bland when compared to the OGs . Missing Clegane and Tyrion big time , I used to expect some kind of menace and plotting even when they were not in a scene they were so good in their roles . All in all a more than watchable series which could do much better if the dialogues didnt sound so bland and euphemistic especially when you know how good they were in the original . 3.8/5

Eva Green truly sets the standard for artistic nudity in her debut , its not obscene for me , its so powerful and beautiful she almost looks like a sculpture from the Renaissance
