I loved and grew up with the original. The original IS superior. But just because it's similar/not the same doesn't make this movie bad. It had me laughing and feeling good about the nods to the original the entire time while making am equal but opposite story that parallels today's principles. To anyone who hates this movie, unless you are trying to make some political statement, I would ask, "why?"
