First of all, a big thank you for director Pamela Green, for bringing to light this amazing history of filmography and the pioneer women behind it.
Ms. Green, through artistry, tenacity and curiosity in pursuing the suppressed or stolen achievements of Alice, has given us a wonderful gift.
What a great job in restoring the status and contribution of Madame Alice Guy-Blaché, as good as restoring her old movies on nitrate negatives.
I enjoyed the docu, the people in it, the commentaries and mostly, the fascinating detective work in unearthing Alice’s life, pictures, family, writings.
I hope that many people will be attracted to this story. I watched it at the Laemmle cinema in Pasadena, Ca, but it’s available on Amazon and YouTube as well.
Enjoy! Et un grand merci! Guy
