An enjoyable big screen adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel.
Certain changes have been made to make the movie more in line with enlightened, modern Hollywood. Amazingly enough, these changes don't affect the story structure.
I was impressed with the stories set pieces on the Karnak, the visuals along the Nile, the tomb of Ramses; gorgeous photography.
The first act tries to introduce to many characters during their hotel check in with the use of overlapping dialogue. Too busy and a bit confusing.
Once they arrive at Ramses' tomb, things pick up and keep you glued to your seat.
A very enjoyable whodunit.
