Sooooo good! I've seen it twice so far! <3

This movie started great, and had a lot of potential. The lead cast being beautifully brown was great, and very refreshing. I love time-travel stories a lot, and the throwback to 'Back to the Future' was awesome. But... that ending was poop. I get that she (probably) sacrificed her life, to save her best friend and brother, but... "Butterfly Effect" already did that. I didn't necessarily want/expect a happy ending, but I feel like the writer(s) could've been more original with the ending. And also, they just cut it off. So we're just left assuming, rather than knowing for sure. Maybe she died? Maybe she fixed it? Who knows? I, personally, did not like the ending at all. The rest of the movie was really good, though. Good timing, no slow moments, good acting, etc... just fell off at the end, in my opinion.

Wooow! This movie is soooo gooood! It starts off kinda slow and whatever, but then it turns around and gets crazy good! I recommend this to anyone, not just time travel and sci-fi fans. If you like good movies, you'll enjoy it. The acting is okay, but the story is where it's at with this one.

I was worried they would ruin this movie, but they really had a great balance of the classic and new take. The music was fantastic, the acting was good, the timing was fast and entertaining, and the cinematography was beautiful. This was my favorite growing up in the 90s, and I was not disappointed at all. <3

Just gave this a shot tonight, and I'm glad I did. Even as a 33yo man, I was able to relate to Nadine and her impulsive emotions. Opening the movie about some people having confidence and others not, was a great way to explain her mindset. It's very difficult to believe in yourself, when it seems like no one else does. And it's even more difficult to believe in the world, when it constantly seems like there's more bad than good. I assume the happy ending was to make the audience feel hopeful, but I kinda wish we saw Nadine go through a more realistic first step towards that. Personal growth doesn't happen over night, and it felt like that's what happened and felt corny to me. But overall, a beautiful story and Steinfeld was amazing. Side note: In real life, Nadine and Krista would never be best friends again. They might talk, but it would never be like it was before.
