Awful, truly awful, if this is what the Beeb are calling a "comedy thriller" then they need to A) define comedy and B) define thriller. A fine cast is let down by a terrible plot & awful writing. There is unnecessary & gratuitous violence which does not allow characters to grow before they are blown away in a fest of blood. The lead gangster is awful & Craig Fairbrass gives his usual wooden performance, I guess there was nothing going on in the Panto circuit Craig? Its a cheap Tarantino/Richie rip off, thank god there are only 6 episodes, I can see viewing figures sinking fast over the next 6 weeks. If I could give no stars I would. Those that gave it 5 stars & said that the violence actually happens in real life (you know who you are Caroline Kalsheker) need to get out more. Knowing the Beeb it will get a second series like the equally awful Vigilant with Suranne Jones.
