Austin Butler who plays Elvis resembles the real star very closely and did Elvis’ sexy moves on stage very well. Austin looked natural and comfortable in the role although he probably studied and worked hard to perfect Elvis’ persona. The movie had a lot of surprising facts about Elvis and how Elvis was exploited by his manager Col.Tom Parker well played by Tom Hanks. In the movie, Elvis is depicted as a vulnerable and naive kid with a “ burning desire” to become a great performer. Elvis’ career had a lot of twist and turns caused by his decision to keep performing his sexy moves on stag and by betrayals of his manager Parker and a long term drug addiction. It’s unpredictable , powerful, and entertaining. It Is a must see.
