A sweet show based on a lovely manga, that introduces people to characters that you do not often see represented in movies and shows imported to our shores from Japan. Sex Trader Workers, LGBTQ, Yukaza, Immigrants, and other women and men populate this drama that at it’s core is about people looking for a connection, and meaning in life.
The set is intimate and detailed. At times you almost feel like you are one of the customers at the diner. Holding it all together is the atmospheric music that intertwines the narrative. The intro song is the work of Tunekichi Suzuki and it sets the mood for the stories that follow in every episode. I hope that you enjoy this series as much as I did.
