I saw it on Netflix and wish I could have seen it in a movie theater to better appreciate the cinematography and sheer amount of detail included in each shot. There is a scene that is very difficult to watch for some people, but there is the option to skip the scene, if watched on Netflix. It's fun to see elements of Cuaron's past movies including Y Tu Mama Tambien and Gravity if you are a fan of his. As with most foreign language films, there's a good amount of subtlety that is lost in translation and it's unfortunate that most will not be able able to understand the spoken dialogue. You should only see this movie if you are ok with movies that are slowly paced and where the plot may not be the highest priority. Hmm, I might just end up going to watch this movie again at a theater.
