I don't even know where and how I begin my review, my feelings for this kdrama. I thought it was pure rom-com. But the finale was too painful to watch for me. The series of deaths and farewells in the finale were too much to handle. I feel so sad for the King<Kudos though on how Lee Jun-ho gave justice to his role----amazing!! Such a great actor👏🥰> Kdrama never fails to impress me everytime. Im still shocked, upset and depressed how the story ended. 😭😭😭 But thats just how lonely the life in the palace was..regardless of rank. The queen dowager was right on point that to be in the palace is to live luxuriously in prison. Over the course of the series, the viewers would understand why Concubine Uibin has so much hesitations in becoming a King's woman--- for her ...to give her all and losing everything would mean death for her even she received the King's heart and his genuine love..but still her pride and dignity have to stay and hers to keep. I feel soooo sad for the King though. 😭😭😭 Overall Rating: 8/10 NOW i am inlove with LJH 😍😍😍😍

Impressive plot. Beautiful love story. Great casting---esp the one who played THE KING/clown!!!! Amazing!!!! What a brilliant actor!!!! The queen too is so pretty and such a good actress!!! I love the visuals, the script, cinematography, OST, the fast pacing of episodes, i was completely hooked!!! SO MANY LESSONS AND WISDOM LEARNED FROM THIS SERIES. 👏👏👏❤ Im now a fan of Yeo Jin-goo!!! 👏👏👏👏 And a WELL-DESERVED HAPPY ENDING❤

From the first episode down to the finale--- VERY REFRESHING SERIES that will make you laugh, smile and even cry. Touching. I cried on the last 3 eps. But sooo happy with the ending. I always love a tragic ending but in this series, the characters deserved a happy ending. ❤❤❤ Loved the setting of the small town--laid back and peaceful. Go Ara is such a good actress! Not easy to make your audiences laugh but with her, it comes naturally. The guy is a good actor too. And I fell inlove with the rest of the characters esp the doctor, the grandpa and the owner of the salon. Nice series to make me moved on a little bit from my depression brought about by Mr.Sunshine🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 This series is must see romcom with a lil drama!!! And of course--- i love the dog.. MIMI!!!!!! 😍😍😍

A MASTERPIECE of the Korean Drama world!!!!! It moved me. Cried buckets of tears until the end. This series proved that intimate scenes aren't necessary for a DEEP and Passionate LOVE to be felt. The longing of the soldier and the rebel for each other was heartfelt, pure, raw, beautiful, painful. A soldier who has loved her deeply and has protected her until the end. A yakuza who has been crazily inlove with her. A rich man who sacrificed his own happiness for hers. And a noble woman who deserved all the love and the sacrifices of the people around her, for her love for country is unparalleled, like a flame that keeps on burning. In a story that will forever leave a mark in my life, Mr.Sunshine is indeed one of the best korean dramas of all time!!!!! Excellent plot, beautiful soundtrack, cinematography, BEST ACTORS and ACTRESSES, esp LEE BYUNG HUN who has incredibly portrayed his role from the beginning to the end. HIS EYES are just so full of emotions! Even in the absence of conversations-----his scenes were the best!!!!! as what ive said MOVING...... And the ending was PAINFULLY BEAUTIFUL and EPIC!!!!!! Tragically passionate!!!!! rating 10/10
