The movie is somewhat good at best....It cannot be called bad,but not a very expectional movie either.....It has 2 halves that are as different as 2 movies....1st half is very shoddily edited and the character of chinnu is mostly irksome in its persona, somewhat like a female version of dulquer salman's Charlie.Even though the mech jokes were pretty relatable,it was the choppy editing that played the spoilsport...But the 2nd half was phenomenal....It was like a taut thriller and had some hard-hitting messages for our society and points a finger towards the judiciary and the ones yielding power......Especially the character played by Salim Kumar was the one who saved the otherwise-choppily running movie from a complete breakdown....The movie could have been way,way more better had the editing been done properly.....Even a movie like chunks, which was heavily panned for its excessive dose of vulgarity and crass depiction of the mech department, had a much better editing and more fluidity in the scene progression.....But still it can be pardoned considering this as a newbie's experiment, though there are many examples within the malayalam film industry where films with newbies stood as much as or more than those by the experienced ones....Overall,Queen is one-time watchable flick...It may not give you a sense of satisfaction that similar movies like Aanandam or Happy Wedding could deliver, but can still be appreciated as a bold experiment by a bunch of newcomers....
