This show is not five stars, but it also isn’t a one star show. The reason people are giving it a one is because of woke pandering. Yes some characters are dark skinned instead of their original white self and yes some characters are now gay, but that’s about it. The story is actually decent and makes you wonder what’s going on. Characters are more fleshed out than in the original. I mean the show was about kids solving mysteries and that’s about it. It didn’t go into motivations or even deep into who each person was. Anyways for all the people hating it, they ate actually still following each episode which is weird. You hate somethings so much to give it a bad review but there’s only two episodes out and they still watch to see how terrible it is? Would you dedicate time to something you hate? It’s just bizarre. Also it looks like it’s getting a season 2 so there’s that. I’d say it’s about 3 it’s nothing special but it’s got an interesting plot and I actually like that they have some personality to each character.

It’s difficult, but that’s not a reason to give it a bad review or less stars. The gameplay is solid, the fighting is flashy and rewarding once you master it. People are going on about “it’s not even about fighting it’s about memorizing patterns and telegraphing your opponents moves.” I’m sorry, isn’t that what fighting is. You practice your technique and get it perfect. You anticipate your opponents moves. I forgot fighting games are suppose to make you feel like you can take on a mob of enemies by button mashing two buttons and then holding a magic block/counter button that leads into flashy finishers. Just say it’s not for you and you didn’t do your research before you picked up a game that’s above your pay grade. It’s a short game, that you will have to grind to get through. That’s a bit of a bummer. So I can’t give it a five star or even a four star. It’s a fighting game that looks good and is hard to master. I’m sure there’s a fun game in there for some but if you don’t like dying a lot and learning from the death OR are frustrated from not getting an easy victory…probably should pass on this game and games like it.

Touching, warm, emotional, captivating. I can’t put it down and I’m drawn to see every corner of this game. The character development of Kratos is so deep, I’ve never seen anything like this. Do not miss this game. Eh combat is nothing to write home about but it does what it needs to and everything ties together so perfectly.

I never thought I would enjoy a game like this. I am completely terrible at the souls games. I got through some of blood borne and bested some bosses, but they are a frustrating bunch of games. Like many I was totally destroyed by the Tree Sentinel early on and was discouraged instantly. I’ve even rage quit only to figure out that the game doesn’t like that and will plop you back to where you were just dying once you load it back up. But I like a challenge and if you just take your time and manage your runes, you’ll have a better time. Honestly there are just places you shouldn’t be at until you’re ready. But most importantly remember you’re going to die a lot and that’s ok, when you die remember it’s your fault. You didn’t time a dodge, you jumped too soon or you shouldn’t have been there at that time. But in this game weapons don’t break, health potions recharge at save points and save points are everywhere. When you have time, around the time you get a horse…explore. Explore and run past everything and you’ll come across a save point. Then die! And relax knowing if you die again you’ll be close to that area. Also you’ll have a map full of save points to jump too via fast travel for more exploration and choice of how to play. Granted you will need to find the maps so you know the area. You don’t want a black screen full of save points. It takes time. I’ve gotten through 12 bosses and I’m level 40 strength build. There’s like 100 bosses and I’ve only beaten two story bosses. Anyways good luck. It’s hard but it’s worth it for those who take the time to appreciate it for what it is. I can’t give it five star because after you stagger an enemy and hit…they have a weird window where they take no damage…you don’t get this privilege.

It’s only a perfect game at the under ten dollar price point. You’re probably thinking I’m crazy for giving this game a five, but I’ll explain. When I first started playing this game it was horrible. Your character moves too fast and the aiming is terrible. It’s also frustrating managing the lives of the town and fighting those giants. But once you realize you can replay levels to earn points to upgrade your stuff it gets easier and more fun. A lot of fun that is. You see it starts to feel like a budget attack on titan. I mean I got the game for five bucks so that’s not a bad deal. I don’t have time for overly complicated and lengthy games. Funny enough there is an element of randomly generated missions to give you near unlimited replay value. Since it’s mostly upgrading and getting better and saving people and killing giants. So it’s simple. In the simplicity I found a perfect game for what it does. Also you start to notice for moving so quickly…you kinda wish you could move faster to get around and deal with the giants destroying everything. If it’s in sale pick it up. I wouldn’t pay more than 5 or 8 bucks with dlc for this though. It’s a perfect score for an under ten dollar game. Anything above LOL!

This is not a super hero movie, this a gritty, crime drama with occasional action sequences. It may even be sort of spiritual successor to a SAW movie in the loosest of ways. I enjoyed it, but just like with most crime, drama plots…they don’t need to be so long. I can respect wanting to emphasis and show every tiny aspect of a scene and wash over to with dramatic music and a husky voice from time to time, but I can get a bit yaaawwwn. I would not watch this movie again, but I enjoyed it and would tell people to watch it as well. Just avoid looking at the clock. I will say I enjoyed that this was a more grounded in reality Batman and the old Twilight star is not scene here, no…just VENGEANCE!

I love this game. It’s fast, paced, tiny open world to explore but not get overwhelmed, there’s a little option to tone down the gore that you can’t throw on whenever, costumes, you feel like a total beast taking on enemies with flashy moves and finishers, decent writing, easy to follow story and little side stuff…plus you get a car?! I wasn’t expecting the car part, but damn you can drive it and get out?! Not too bad. It plays like a Yakuza game but it’s a lot more simple and if you know the characters or even just the main it’s all the better. Watching Ken get stronger with each upgrade and level up is just so satisfying. When someone thinks they can beat you and obliterate them it’s so freaking satisfying. I love this game.

The part of this movie is the villain who isn’t even a villain. Everything else get lacking. The story, predictable ending and predictable conclusion to storylines. Eh…

This game is garbage. I was actually trying to enjoy it and then was getting destroyed by Marcos at the end with all his whack fire attacks and overbearing speed. I’m not saying the game is garbage because it’s hard at some points. Naaaah. It’s garbage because in the middle of the fight the connection drops. Yeah I’ve service always online even for single player content…weird though that a game that is always online can pause… but when you lose connection, the game keeps going but you can’t move. How does that make sense. So I’m just stuck and he’s attacking the ish outta me and I just gotta take it and eventually die. Games broken…

There was nothing grand or special about the 2021 version of Mortal Kombat. The introduction of a completely new character was confusing and not needed. Characters felt cartoonish and sloppy when it came to delivery and storylines. Wait, what storylines? The most interesting thing about the movie was Sub Zero and Scorpion. You honestly could just watch Scorpions Revenge and get a better Mortal Kombat movie as a bonus...Eh it wasn’t bad but it was not worth a a movie ticket. Maybe a stream late night with a drink in hand.
