Wanted to give it ONE STAR buuuut I thought of my pros and stars and gave it TWO STARS. WHY DO THE HOSTS KEEP SAYING YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE THE DANCES OR TILL THE END OF THE SHOW…BOTE FOR YOUR STAR NOW!?!? The premise is to vote on the BEST DANCERS. While I know this is nothing but a popularity competition I was hoping that it would still be based on performances within a specific evening (week) and not on how many subscribers/likes/etc. a contestant has. This has brought the show’s credibility DOWN TREMENDOUSLY!!! I guess at least now dwts is being blatantly honest about what the true motive is—though it’s shallow, unfair, and says a lot of how little character, dignity, and respect the show has for those watching and the stars/pros who work so hard each week only to be judged by celebrity popularity!? It has become the biggest scheme. I’m over it but watch my absolute favorite pros as well as the stars who empress me every time they perform. Love my pros, love my hardworking stars, love the production and creativity but that is about the extent of it all. Tyra and Alfonso…or maybe just Tyra (sorry)…simply does not fold well enough into the show for me. I just feel like there is little or no chemistry and that I’m watching her show and dwts — two individual entities that when combined, should mesh well —but they do not. I love that they tried to diversify but this was not the best choice for a dance comp host.

I like the show Clarice but as a stand alone CBS criminal drama not on the premise of what the network advertised it to be. So in my thoughts, this show should not associated so heavily with Silence of the Lambs. It seems like the only thing it has in common with the movie is the shared name of the main character. It has presented FIVE episodes with weak references and satire that may SLIGHTLY resemble the movie but it's definitely no cult classic as its predecessor now is. Just my opinion.
