My Happy Marriage's charming, colorful animation and likable characters make this a nice anime, well worth watching in my opinion. The relationship of the main couple, Miyo and Kiyoka, has progressed at a great pace so far, so I can't see it being an agonizing slow burn. Centers around the romance, in a good way. I enjoy watching how characters want to improve themselves. No beach scene type fan service, just attractive characters. This anime does deal with some pretty severe trauma belonging to characters (abusive household Cinderella type stuff, but it gets way more extreme). Some of my personal favorites aspects of this anime is how nice it looks, and I especially like how colorful each character's eyes are. There are some really nice scenes that are just pleasant to look at. Conflict ties into both the characters and the fantasy, and It is easy to follow and entertaining enough. The fights I've seen (so far) are pretty OK. They support the plot well enough, so I won't complain just because they can't be breathtaking. The show isn't about fighting after all. It's a romance. Overall, If you like an anime with romance/fantasy/characters overcoming self doubt and accepting love, you should definitely give this a try. Watch a few episodes and see what you think.
