I’m giving this 1 star for the sole aspect of Sarma.
Netflix did a great job with the film and the producers did a great job as well as the story is fascinating, HOWEVER; after coming off of the Anna Delvy story and the Tinder Swindler, you can say these women are not intelligent in the slightest but that’s not even my gripe about it. Sarma did not even seem sorry for anything she did. She’s sitting there playing victim, trying to clear her name all the while seeming to be condoning her actions. When asked questions to basically question why she never told anyone, she said, “what was I suppose to say?” In the moment I get it but now that it all happened that’s your answer? Not even, I felt like I couldn’t? Even thought Sarma is irritating as hell, this story is very captivating and interesting, worth a watch!
