I was blessed with a copy of After All by Maria Trautman. I really connected with this book and the writers struggles. She writes from her heart and you really feel a piece of her in her story. To read everything she has been through and her ability to adapt and persevere. I was worried for her so many times and wanted to hug and hold her as a child. I shed many tears while reading her story right up to the end. It made me think about my own complicated and often difficult relationship with my own mother. I felt so pulled in that I felt the need to reach out to the author when I was finished the book and to my surprise, she wrote back! If you want to feel all the feels, grab this book.
