10/10 best Transformers movie period.
The short scene from the Bumblebee movie that was set on Cybertron really peaked my interest having been a G1 fan as the animation was so good & characters recognisable (compared to the Bay movies)
So I was super excited to see this film & it didn't disappoint, a feast for the eyes! So much detail I want to freeze frame every frame when it's out to buy or rent at home.
I was away at the weekend so saw the first showing in Liverpool, UK on Thursday which was 2D but hoping to see it this weekend in 3D which I've heard adds to it (unlike many films) but there's only a few cinemas showing it in 3D & looks like I'll have to see an early afternoon showing.
Bit annoyed that the studio don't seem to be pushing it much, I haven't seen a tv slot or a poster on the side of a bus at all or any of the voice cast doing UK interviews. It's actually the No1 film in the UK at time of writing!
Disappointed we may not get a sequal, hope it does well on digital & in Bluray sales, everything crossed.
Go see this film even if you only have a passing interest in Transformers , most of the previous films didn't make sense to me, convoluted plots but this is an origin story of sorts, flows well & are coherent.
Favourite part was the scenes with Shockwave, Soundwave & Starscream.
