The concept is great, but I am afraid the judging system is very objective and narrow-minded. They try to achieve “authentic” flavour from a foreign cuisine by having a judge who seem to bought up by westernised foreign cuisine take-away. The way of judging the dishes are very dependent on the judge’s personal preference and expectation (instead of skills or taste). I went to Vietnam and not all their spring taste like they were expecting. Watched the 1st episode and give up because i can’t tolerance the home cook to be judged like in such a way.
