There is so much white rage against this movie based on the completely undeserved 1 star reviews. The movie was visually stunning and the main character showed amazing courage and resilience to stand up to a complete villain who wanted to control the people’s will by promising them something that was false - a place where they could live with security at the costs of stealing peoples dreams and thereby what is essential to be a human. The mentions to the stars is an amazing lesson and showing that there is always hope even when it’s hopeless provides a historical lesson about how slaves overcame their white overseers - people who stole the stars from them and stole their dreams. The only thing wrong with this movie is that y’all need an explanatory comma. **Edited cause Karen’s can’t take cuss words.
