Incredible adaptation. The witches are as real as witches could be. The final swordfight is certainly the best ever filmed and that is no exaggeration. The language is clearly spoken . However ,the murder scene of Macduff's family is pdisturbing but you have to remember that it was the first film he made after his wife was murdered by Manson 'family'members. The film is shunning and well worth watching. I

Movie description is all wrong. Peck plays honest sheriff who shoots an old chief who is firing at him ,and is carrying a treasure map which the sheriff believing is fake ,burns.it. Various desperate groups of treasure hunters force sheriff to lead them on map's trail. Many big stars in small but important roles.Story -telling narrative style works well ,as does Quincy Jones score. Title song by Jose Feliciano. The legendary cast parties are reflected in this entertaing classic morals tales' performances.

Unpleasant characters I wouldn't want to spend any time with , swearing incessantly. I had high hopes,after 'Fatman' ---a great film --- but this was so awful that the whole room voted to turn it off after giving it forty-five minutes. Adolescent adrenaline junkies migh enjoy it but it basically has no content .
