I have read all of the leopard series books and loved them all and was patiently waiting for this book to be written to finally learn Elijah's story and then... *sigh* This is truly the 1st leopard book that I can honestly say is a disappointment. The story line is "hard" to read because it doesn't really progress. To be honest after finish reading the book it left me feeling disappointed. It felt like the writer maybe was mad at the main character or maybe she didn't feel well while writing the book because her writing talent was still evident but the story lacked the "punch" all of her other other books had. And then the sex. Oh. My. Soul. It dominated. literally. Take out half of the scenes and you probably will be left with almost half of the book. It really came across as the sex was the main story line and focus of the book in stead of the characters and their story.
