Lucifer on the Moon is a full length remix of Spoons’s Lucifer on the Sofa by On U Sound dub legend Adrian Sherwood. This is more than just a standard dub reconstruction of “On The Sofa”! Sherwood has taken the original album and made something different, trippier, magical but still containing the essence (maybe different essences) of the original. In the tradition of The Easy All Stars- Dub Side of the Moon and Radiodread, both dubbed out reggae versions of Dark Side of the Moon and Radioheads - OK Computer, Lucifer on the Moon is a welcome and beautiful companion remix to Lucifer on the Sofa.
